Billing Terms and Conditions

Merritt Communications extends a variety of options to our valued customers in order to provide flexibility in acquiring our products. Below, you will find a listing of the acquisition options along with the associated terms and conditions that apply.

Credit Cards. We accept most major credit cards as payment for our products and services. Cards accepted include Visa, MasterCard and American Express. For orders placed on-line, it is our normal practice to charge the credit card in advance. This also holds true in those cases where the customer has a specific need or requirement to have their card charged by a specified deadline such as end of year cut-off dates etc. Otherwise, credit cards are not charged until the product is shipped and in transit as evidenced by carrier tracking detail.

Pay Pal. Merritt Communications accepts Pay Pal as a payment option.

Net 30. For those customers who qualify, we extend 30 day payment terms. Some Government organizations such as the State of California require payment terms of net 45 days which we also honor. When terms are extended, it is our normal expectation to be paid in the prescribed timeframe.

Prompt Payment Discount. Merritt Communications does not offer a prompt payment discount at this time.

Late Payment Penalties. Merritt Communications does not access late payment penalties at this time. We do however ask for consideration in paying our invoices in a timely manner.

Purchase Orders. We accept Corporate and Government purchase orders from most organizations and bill according to the instructions outlined on the purchase order. Purchase orders received need to be from those individuals who are authorized to obligate the organization to the payment details outlined on the order.

Lease. As an alternative form of payment we offer a lease plan as an option to outright purchase. Our leases are written for a specified term, generally 24, 36 or 48 months though custom terms are also available. At the end of the lease term you have options available that include purchase.

Rental. Merritt Communications is the only company to offer a short term/long term all-inclusive rental plan. This is a pay as you go program that includes most accessories as well as a non-expiring warranty as well as the ability to upgrade or downgrade during the rental period. If the purchase option is exercised, a portion of rental would apply to the purchase. Charges for renting equipment are paid in advance.
